For TU Delft, we were allowed to build a cardboard cabinet on a pedestal. In line with TU Delft's sustainability ambitions, this bookcase is made entirely of recyclable cardboard.
The nine rotating cubes invite users to interact with the design, making each interaction a unique experience. The central cube, covered with mirror paper, adds a surprising visual element and symbolizes reflection and self-study - core values of the university.
We made the cabinet from 16 mm thick BEELITE, which is fully printed. We made the axes and cubes from corrugated cardboard. In our studio in Zelhem, we assembled everything, tested it, and transported it to TU Delft.
