Workshop Achterhoek: Unleash your creativity!
Karton Design offers a fun and creative workshop in the Achterhoek. During this workshop, you’ll learn how to create a beautiful animal head out of cardboard. You can choose from four animal heads: a Ram, an Elephant, a Lion, or a Deer. It’s also possible to make a self-portrait! This workshop is incredibly fun to do together with your mother, sister, friend, or even your neighbor. Together, you'll get creative with cardboard. You can make so many fun things out of cardboard, and during this workshop in the Achterhoek, Margrieta will tell you more about it.
Creative Workshop Achterhoek: Get started
During this workshop in the Achterhoek, we’ll be making an animal head of your choice. We use a cardboard frame that’s already cut out, so you can get started right away. The idea is to glue cardboard onto the frame. But be careful, this cardboard isn't pre-cut. You'll tear it from large sheets, which gives a super cool and playful effect! This way, you’ll get a unique result. Once you've torn the pieces, you can start molding and folding them, so the cardboard takes the shape you want, and it starts to look more like the animal you've chosen! Finally, you glue the cardboard in place using a glue gun.

You can join the creative workshop in the Achterhoek either alone or with a group. A group consists of a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 people. This workshop is also perfect for a bachelorette party! It’s important to note that making an animal head cannot be done in just a few hours. Therefore, it’s important to plan for two evenings or one Saturday. During this workshop in the Achterhoek, you’ll be well taken care of, with coffee, tea, and some treats. A lunch option is also available.

Karton Design specializes in designing, developing, and delivering cardboard products, with a focus on the technical aspects. We love translating this into the application and desired look of the product. Margrieta Oomkes started this company in 2014 and has since completed many beautiful projects!
