Cardboard cave for Lynk & Co Düsseldorf

Through Teamwork Interiors BV uit Varsseveld, we were asked to build a cave for the new Lynk & Co store in Düsseldorf. After some testing and experimenting with different types of cardboard, it was decided to go for a coarse, sturdy corrugated type.

The 3D drawing was sliced by the architect and converted into cutting parts, which we cut out and glued together in the correct order. The parts were 3.5 meters high, about 1 meter wide and 15 cm thick. All parts of 1 cm thickness together form a cave 7 meters long and 3.5 meters high. The cave has various counters and a ceiling.

The team from Teamwork Interiors built the cave in Düsseldorf, the result is stunning.
