On behalf of Janssen Packaging, I developed packaging for the super-fast triathlon bikes of Ku-Cycle. The packaging had to be designed so that the bikes could be shipped worldwide and arrive undamaged at the customer's location.

Ku-Cycle custom builds all bikes for their customers, so the packaging must fit both the smallest and largest bike.
I created a base from 5 cm thick honeycomb cardboard, where the bike stands and all parts are securely stored without touching each other. I provided extra protection for the derailleur. A spot was also made for all loose parts to be safely placed in the packaging.
For additional accessories, there is a separate box that can be placed on top of the wheels, so the accessories do not fly around inside the box.
The packaging is completed with 2 trays and a sleeve made of corrugated cardboard. Once everything is in the box and the sleeve is in place, the packaging can be strapped and shipped.
