Cardboard exhibition stand for GeoComfort

Project

Kartonnen+beursstand+geocomfort

GeoComfort, a company specializing in sustainable energy generation, wanted a sustainable exhibition stand. Their graphic designer John van Geest from buro Johnny go! designed the stand, and we technically developed it, cut it, glued it, and made it ready for shipping.

The cardboard exhibition stand is 2.5x3 meters and 2.5 meters high. The walls are made of 4 layers of 5 cm honeycomb cardboard, with a coffee corner and a TV screen incorporated into the walls.

To emphasize sustainability, John designed a tree into it, along with birds, a squirrel, and a dog peeing against the tree. All parts are cut out of different thicknesses of corrugated cardboard and glued onto the stand.

The cardboard exhibition stand is fully demountable and can be transported on a single pallet. The stand is also designed so that it can be set up in a straight configuration, without the corner.

The bar table and bar stools are also made of 5 cm thick honeycomb cardboard.
