Discover Our Contribution to Dutch Design Week!

Dutch Design Week is a large-scale annual international event in Eindhoven, focusing on design in all its facets. This year, the Dutch Design Foundation and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science joined forces with PONT, a multi-year collaboration centered on using design power for societal issues. Thus, PONT, The Public Design Practice, was born. To make this known, special attention was given to PONT during DDW, and we were allowed to create the decor for this with various custom-made cardboard components.

We built a large counter in two parts from honeycomb cardboard, with the letter PONT glued on top. During the introduction, the two parts could be turned towards each other to form the counter, making the text PONT visible. We also built blocks and five gates to highlight the various components of PONT.
