Custom Cardboard Exhibition Stand for AHEC

For the American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC), Karton Design designed and produced a fully customised cardboard exhibition stand for two international trade fairs: Carrefour International du Bois in Nantes (France) and FIMMA-Maderalia in Valencia (Spain).

The challenge was unique. The exhibition stand had to be suitable for two different exhibition venues. In Nantes, AHEC had a stand space of 6 × 6 metres, while in Valencia the available space measured 6 × 7 metres. We therefore developed a modular exhibition stand that could easily be adapted to both floor plans without compromising its appearance or functionality.

The design features four distinctive corner columns and a central information column. Two of the corner columns incorporate integrated storage space, keeping promotional materials and personal belongings neatly out of sight. A third column houses a TV screen for presentations and videos. The central column forms the heart of the stand, displaying information panels about the different hardwood species together with real wood samples that visitors could see and touch.

To complete the overall presentation, we also designed a custom-printed floor graphic, fully aligned with AHEC's corporate identity. The result was a clean, professional and inviting exhibition stand that showcased the various wood species in an attractive and informative way.
