Cardboard pop-up theater for Corrie Broks and Co
Project
Corrie Broks and Co is an Acting and Training Agency. Through theater, Corrie and Madeleine allow people in healthcare to experience the effects of communication and behavior. This is a unique project because this theater stands at one care or hospital location for 1-2 weeks and is then dismantled and rebuilt elsewhere.
Karton Design was allowed to design and create the cardboard pop-up theater. This theater is 6x2.5x2.5 meters. The walls slide into each other, the roof beams hold the walls together and support the roof panels.
Because the pop-up theater travels through care facilities and hospitals, hygiene is very important. Therefore, the parts are provided with gloss laminate on both sides, so that they can be kept clean and are better protected against weather influences.
In addition to the theater, we also supplied the other components made of cardboard: counter, chair, stool, projection screen and projector holder.
