How do I keep Karton furniture clean?

Cardboard and moisture don't mix well. Therefore, we recommend cleaning our cardboard products with air. This way, you blow the dust out of the channels and edges of the cardboard. Special cans with compressed air are available in stores. Carefully using a feather duster is also possible. Gently vacuuming is another option.

 Can I also color the Karton furniture?

Yes, you can optionally varnish your furniture with clear varnish or with a color. However, keep in mind that in some cases, it is better to varnish the furniture on both sides to prevent warping.

 Can the cardboard furniture withstand moisture?

Cardboard is a natural product made from paper. Water and cardboard don't mix well. However, you can safely clean around the furniture, even with a slightly damp mop. Don't let your cardboard furniture stand in a puddle of water. Once you have varnished your cardboard furniture, you can wipe it down with a slightly damp cloth.

Can cardboard furniture also be used outdoors?

In dry weather, the furniture can be taken outside, but bring it back inside as soon as it gets damp! The sun does have an impact on the cardboard. The cardboard can discolor or warp in the sun as the paper dries out.

How long do cardboard furniture pieces last?

Your furniture can last for years if you treat it with care. Cardboard is a natural product and is therefore sensitive to weather conditions. It is also more vulnerable to impacts and bumps than wooden furniture.
