Keeping the cardboard lampshade clean
Cleaning the lampshade or other cardboard furniture can be done with air. Cardboard and moisture don't go well together, so we recommend cleaning with air. This way, you blow all the dust out of the channels and edges of the cardboard. Special spray cans with compressed air are available in stores. Light use of a feather duster is also possible. Careful vacuuming is another option.
Cardboard lampshade kit
Some lampshade models are delivered assembled, but other cardboard lampshades are sent as a kit. Some shades are sent as a kit because they're easier to ship that way. You simply assemble the lamp according to the instructions and hang it with the included black plastic pendant. For example, no glue is needed. You can easily put together a designer lamp neatly, even with two left hands.
